Our
Mission
The Brookie Foundation is dedicated to supporting families of children who experience the world differently. We champion inclusion, compassion, and empowerment by providing resources, advocacy, and meaningful opportunities that celebrate every child's unique journey. Our mission is to give back to these families—uplifting their voices, honoring their resilience, and helping build a more understanding and inclusive future for all.
Serving our Community
Story
We are all familiar with Aly's Monkey Movement and if you're not it was a family that made it their mission to gift monkeys to children that may have been experiencing difficult times, including loss of a loved one, hospitalization, etc.
The end of the year is approaching, and changes are being implemented. One being that the founders of Aly's Monkey Movement can no longer provide the attention that they believe their mission deserves. With their blessing The Brookie Foundation would like to start providing Bear Stuffies to children in need called, "Brookie's Bears"
These bears will be delivered to hospitals, local ambulances, doctors' offices, etc. We will also have a bear referral page where you can request a child get one. You can refer a child having a tough time in their lives. Loss of a loved one, medical diagnosis or procedure, traumatic experience, moving, spilt family, etc. We want the opportunity to put a smile on these children’s faces even if their world seems turned upside down. These bears will also have accessories and such available on our shop tab (est.2026).
Thank you for your support and may we all work together to gift all the snuggles we can ♥

Our Vision
We want a state-of-the-art facility. We want sensory gardens with hands on activities. The calming sounds of water dipping and birds chirping. We want each room to have texture or be a Montessori wall. Each room they get to experience something new, something exciting, and most importantly feel inclusive.
We want a music room, grocery store, bumper cars, indoor play gym, outside play yard with lots of neurodivergent equipment. We will have classes for sign language and braille. We want support groups for families, so they never feel alone.
Notice I say we…a lot. That’s because it will take a village, our community, and people who relate to our mission to build this foundation.
Cheers to The Brookie Foundation. ♥
Summary
October 2025
Creating a World Where All Children Are Seen, Heard, and Supported
Executive Summary
Children with sensory challenges, visual impairments, and complex medical conditions often face a world not built for them. The Brookie Foundation exists to change that. Founded in October 2025 by Brittany Savage, The Brookie Foundation supports children with neurodivergent and medical needs by providing essential items, toys, and educational resources that are too often inaccessible through traditional means.
Our mission is deeply personal and urgently needed. Many families, like mine, navigate a fragmented system where sensory-appropriate, visually adaptive, and comforting tools are not readily available — especially in underserved communities. Sometimes, we’re left shopping in dog toy aisles to find something our children can connect with. This is not just a funding issue — it’s a societal oversight.
This white paper outlines the urgent need to support neurodivergent and medically complex children, the gap in resources currently available to them, and the transformative role The Brookie Foundation plays in filling that gap. We invite you to join us — as a donor, a volunteer, and a voice for children who are often unseen.
The Problem
Across the United States, thousands of children live with conditions that impact their ability to engage with the world as it is — including sensory processing disorders, visual impairments, and rare medical conditions such as hypopituitarism. These children often require specialized tools and toys that are not stocked in local stores and are cost-prohibitive for many families.
Key Challenges:
Lack of Accessibility: Sensory-friendly and adaptive toys are rarely found in mainstream retail outlets.
Underfunding: Families are frequently forced to cover costs out-of-pocket for necessary tools and educational resources.
Awareness Gap: Neurodivergent conditions are often invisible, leading to misunderstanding and lack of empathy from communities and systems.
Isolation of Families: Parents often feel alone, unsupported, and exhausted in their search for appropriate resources for their children.
The result? Children are left without the tools they need to grow, learn, and feel comforted — and parents are left without hope.
Our Solution
The Brookie Foundation is committed to delivering direct, tangible support to families in need. Through partnerships with healthcare providers, educators, and community advocates, we identify children whose needs are not being met and ensure they receive the toys, tools, and resources that fit them — not just the average child.
What We Want to Provide:
Custom sensory toy kits tailored to each child's condition and preferences.
Grants for families to access therapeutic tools or educational supports.
Community education initiatives to raise awareness of neurodivergent conditions.
Volunteer-driven support networks to reduce the isolation so many families experience.
Create a Facility for all children to feel included, loved, and empowered.
Our Why
This mission began with one child: my son. Diagnosed with hypopituitarism and facing visual impairments, we quickly discovered that the world simply isn’t set up for children like him. We searched every store, every aisle — and found ourselves in the dog toy section just trying to find something safe and stimulating enough for him to enjoy.
No family should have to experience that.
The Brookie Foundation was created to ensure no child is left behind — and no parent is left feeling powerless.
The Impact
We’re already building momentum. Since our founding in October 2025, The Brookie Foundation has:
Built partnerships with pediatricians and occupational therapists to identify children most in need.
Designed prototypes of sensory kits in collaboration with parents and medical experts.
Started pilot programs in underserved school districts to introduce sensory-friendly resources.
With your support, we can:
Expand our reach across multiple states.
Launch a national donation platform for sensory and visual tools.
Build a volunteer network trained to advocate in local communities and schools.
Call to Action: Join the Movement
Children with complex needs deserve more than compassion — they deserve action. At The Brookie Foundation, we are committed to creating a world where all children feel supported, seen, and celebrated.
Here’s how you can help:
Donate: Every dollar goes directly to providing comfort, joy, and relief to children and families.
Volunteer: Become part of a growing network of community advocates.
Partner: Are you a business or healthcare provider? Let’s collaborate to scale our reach.
Share Our Story: Awareness is powerful. Help spread the word about neurodivergent children and how we can support them.
Final Note
The Brookie Foundation is more than an organization — it’s a promise to every child who has ever felt different, overlooked, or left behind. With your help, we can turn that promise into a new reality — one toy, one family, one breakthrough at a time.
